Canada's first 211 service was officially launched in Toronto on June 13, 2002
by United Way of Greater Toronto, Findhelp Information Services, the City of
Toronto, the Ontario Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities and Human
Resources Development Canada.
211Toronto.ca is the public, online version of the database used by information
and referral specialists for the 211 telephone service.
211Toronto.ca provides comprehensive, accurate and up-to-date information on
services provided by nonprofit, community-based organizations or the public
sector. In general, private or commercial organizations are not included unless
they provide unique services or they are licensed to provide certain services
such as child care.

Greater Toronto Airports Authority
The Greater Toronto Airports Authority (GTAA) operates Toronto Pearson
International Airport in Mississauga, Ontario, west of Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
The GTAA operates Canada's largest airport facility with a traffic of 31.0
million passengers in 2006. The authority's headquarters are on the airport
grounds. The GTAA has recently completed a $4.4 billion dollar redevelopment of
Toronto Pearson to enable the airport to handle increases in traffic well into
the future.

Toronto Eaton Centre
The Toronto Eaton Centre is a large shopping mall and office complex in Downtown
Toronto, Ontario, Canada, named after the now-defunct Eaton's department store
chain that once anchored it. In terms of the number of visitors, the shopping
mall is Toronto's top tourist attraction, with around one million visitors per
week. It is also the largest shopping mall in Eastern Canada and fourth-largest
in Canada as a whole.

The Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) is a public transport authority that
operates buses, streetcars, subways, and rapid transit lines in Toronto,
Ontario, Canada. Established in 1954, the TTC has grown to comprise three subway
lines and an elevated rapid transit line with a total of 69 stations, as well as
149 connecting surface routes (buses and streetcars) of which 148 routes make
243 connections with a subway or rapid transit station during weekday rush
hours.
